on to the second quarter

It’s hard to believe that the second quarter of the year will begin next week. Time has flown on by.

There were some technical difficulties with the site, but we’re back up and running now … along with a new look. The blogging hiatus has ended and we’re back in gear again. A few additional “tweaks” remain on the list of things to be done, so stay tuned. Those changes won’t be drastic and you may or may not notice them, but we’re probably 95% of the way there now.

The annual Buck Creek Festival will be held in Old Town Helena on May 8 and 9, 2009. This annual event has raised over $102,000 over the past seven years for affiliated charities, including schools and libraries. If you are interested in being a sponsor for this year’s festival, please check out the sponsor information page on their website.

As the weekend begins, I hope that you are surrounded by friends and family that you adore. Take some time for some R&R with those you care about - laugh, enjoy each other’s company, and be appreciative of those special people in your life. Most of all, I hope that you are surrounded by positive and supportive people - it makes such a huge difference, both personally and professionally. In the words of Randy Pausch, focus on being a Tigger, not an Eeyore … and be surrounded by Tigger’s. I am blessed with fabulous people in my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Have a fabulous (although rainy) weekend, enjoy your downtime, and gear up to be in action next week. Great things are on your horizon, you just need to go make them happen. To quote Henry Ford, “If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.” Do you believe that you have the ability to make them happen?
