The past couple of weeks have been filled with many things and many emotions. It’s so great to have good people around you when times are tough - they will listen, support, and encourage you. When negativity tries to force it’s way into your life (and sometimes at the most inopportune times), it’s sometimes easier said than done, but we have to brush it off and keep soldiering on. Letting that negativity cause a roadblock for us shouldn’t be an option.
Kellie Pickler was on the Ellen show a few days ago and she talked about some of her life struggles. She talked about the need to remove the bad and negative forces from our lives and replacing them with good. It’s not always an easy decision to make or an easy thing to do, but once we do it we often find ourselves in a much better place. The effect that good and positive people have on us is incredible. Have you ever done that? What she had to say resonated with me because I have very often done the same thing. I’d encourage you to consider it if you find yourself bogged down with forces that pull you down. I say this often, but surround yourself with positive people and you will be happy with the change you feel in your life.
Hope the week has been a productive one for you. Have you taken the appropriate steps to lead you to your goal? If you haven’t, there is still time today! Take some time at the end of the day (or over the weekend) and set your action plan for next week. Think about the things you need to accomplish and commit to yourself to get them done. Concentrate on the big picture. What are the things that will be most beneficial in getting you to your goal? If you need help, find an accountability partner. But get your plan in place and be ready to go at it starting on Monday morning!
All in all it’s been a good couple of weeks for me, and I hope it has been for you as well. As the weekend approaches, I hope it’s a good one for you. Get together with those you care about and go do something fun. It’s Halloween weekend, and I’m sure you’ll be able to scare up some fun! Do things to make you smile and laugh. You’ll be glad you did.
Go be a Tigger and have a fabulous weekend!
