whose fault is it, anyway? yours?!

I mentioned in an earlier post that I sat in on a TeleClass with Larry Winget. His style is not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. It comes through in his books, but comes through even more clearly when hearing him speak. Larry has actually trademarked himself as “The Pitbull of Personal Development” and when you read or listen to him, you will quickly understand why.

I took some bullet point notes from the call and will share a few of them with you today:

* Larry says that words are hollow and empty. He tells people to show him with their actions - show him what you’re DOING. That shows what is important to you.
* The way you spend your time, energy, and money shows what is important to you.
* Give up hope and wishful thinking. Hard work is the key to success. You must be willing to do the work to get the results you want.
* Start with a decision to be more successful. Don’t worry about how you’re going to do it. What matters is the why, not the how.
* Take action today. TNT = today, not tomorrow.
* Do what you said you would, when you said you would, the way you said you would. Larry says that anything other than that makes you a liar and that no excuse is good enough - no matter what.

The basis of much of what Larry talks about is taking responsiblity for the course of your own life. As he says, “your life is your own fault” - therefore, your success and/or failure is also your fault. If you aren’t happy with how you are living, Larry says to get sick and tired of how you are living - and then DO something to change it.

If you sign up for Larry’s email list via his website, you can get a free download of his book “That Makes Me Sick”.

If you’re not happy with your current situation, the time to do something about it is now!
