more on randy pausch

Most who know me to any degree know what an impact Randy Pausch had on me. I blogged about him, I quoted him, I shared his story … with everyone. His story touched me on several levels - I relate personally to what he and Jai were facing and it hit so very close to my heart - but hearing him reminded me of so much. When I had gotten lost, he put me back on the right path. I wish he could know the impact he had on me. He touched me so very much that I received a phone call yesterday afternoon to make sure I was ok when a friend learned of his passing.

abcnews has a very good article about Randy. It also mentions some times to tune in for a special tribute. Copied from the article I linked to:

Tune in to “Good Morning America” Monday July 28 and Tuesday July 29 for a special tribute to Professor Pausch. Then be sure and catch “The Last Lecture: A Celebration of Life” Tuesday July 29 on “Primetime” at 10 p.m. ET

If you haven’t yet watched or read The Last Lecture, I urge you to. And whatever you do, live your life to the fullest and work to achieve your dreams. Enable others to achieve their dreams. And as Randy says, never lose the childlike wonder. Be a Tigger, not an Eeyore.

Rest in peace, Randy. You’ve left an incredible legacy and you will continue to inspire others always.
