I am perhaps showing my age when I share my love of the band Journey, one of my favorites from my teen days of long ago. They toured in 2006 with Def Leppard, and I saw them (with one of their post-Steve Perry lead singers) with a friend of mine and we rocked out. But my music choices and concert moments aren’t what I really wanted to talk about.
What I wanted to share is a dream come true for the new lead singer of the band Journey. His name is Arnel Pineda, and he is formerly with a band from the Phillipines called “The Zoo”. They sang some of their original songs as well as some covers of Journey songs … and they posted some of their material on YouTube. Well, Journey was in search of a new lead singer and one of the band members was scouting new talent on YouTube. He saw The Zoo’s performances, was blown away by Arnel Pineda … and now there is new footage of Arnel on YouTube … in the dream come true position of the new lead singer of Journey.
Following your passion can absolutely lead you to the chance of a lifetime … and your dreams coming true.

If weather permits, there will be some golf balls hit down the fairway this weekend. Well, mine will be in the fairway … don’t know if we can say the same for Rob’s (don’t tell him I said that). ;-)
